Satiety in Society attempts to coax its reader to make an inquiry into the ingredients and recipes that are concocted behind closed factory walls when it comes to the consumption of processed and packaged food. In recent years, Bangalore has witnessed a large growth in its population and has slowly evolved into a growing, industrialised, metropolitan city. The progress of various food industries in the city has at large led to the introduction of many new variants of packaged foods in the market, produced on even the smallest scale. This development has broadened the consumer market, and this market is now being exploited for relishing processed and packaged food for mere enjoyment, filing our bodies with substances that are detrimental to our long-term health.
